This is a rare antique silver hunting brooch.  It is in the form of an Oak tree branch, and has 2 stags teeth which represent acorns.  The leaves have detailed 'veining' and there is a further silver Acorn on the branch.

The brooch is complete with its original pin and clasp.

History/Markings

The brooch is a rare German piece of jewellery.  It has a German 800 silver stamp, and a German makers mark.

The 800 stamp indicates a silver content of 80%.  This is slightly lower than 925 sterling which is 92.5% silver.

Condition

Excellent condition.

Secure fastening.

Light tarnish.
